Lo scrittore norvegese Jostein Gaarder autore di Sophie's World ha annunciato nel piú prestigioso quotidiano norvegese , l'Aftenposten, la fine di Israele: "dobbiamo accettare questa idea: lo stato di Israele nella sua forma corrente é storia... dobbiamo sperare che lo spirito e la parola facciano scomparire le mura dell'apartheid di Israele. Lo stato di Israele non esiste. Che il mondo abbia pietá della popolazione civile."
Per lo scrittore norvegese il D-O di Israele é un sadico insaziabile ("an insatiable sadist")
